I bought a bag of pistachios-only pistachios-which read in big packages on the front of the bag "California Pistachios". On the final of the bag read "Allergen Alert: Contains Pistachios" Is this really necessary? Who would purchase these, not see the front sign, and immediately turn it over to check for allergy alerts?How stupid is this?
it is stupid, but---------there are some stupid family out there!
i deliberate that is to protect themselves from mortal sued..its just a policy they sort to ensure if anyone has an alergic hostile response that they wont be to blame ..its covers their *** so to speak

Not sure if you remember the person who sued McDonalds b/c their coffee be "HOT" and burnt their tongue. Umm.. it's coffee!! So immediately, on ALL McDonalds coffee cups, there's the words
"Caution: Contents HOT"
