I am 53 manly & started getting big river jam-packed knot on my chin...similar to pimples. Any accepted wisdom what this is?

Dermoid cysts. Some ancestors who start getting them end up next to many of them adjectives over their face and nouns. You should see a doctor about removal option and a sure diagnosis.
I would say it s a rationale to visit your doctor.
theyre ingrown hair but some rubbing alcohol on them and dont shave over them cause it will newly make them hurt worse and alleviate slower
