How soon can i get through solids after a gastric bypass ?

My son gets married surrounded by september, i have surgery the first week within august. I KNOW it wont be much, but will i be able to devour ANYTHING so soon ?? As i dont want him paying for an expensive meal for me knowing i cannot even hold a mouthfull.How soon can i get through solids after a gastric bypass ?
My friend had to stay on liquid for a while, don't remember how long but this is a question for the doctor who is doing the surgery. Not the broad public, you can't relate what is happening to you by their experiences. Take it to your professional and play it out of danger.

well my mother have it the first few week her stomach was valid small just similar to yours will be and the first week or so if she just ate a moment or two jello shed be full really it depends on how much time it will take to own your stomach open youd be suprised more or less how fast you take full your doctor will explain everything
This is entirely serious and don't even worry around anyone else, after surgery you will have to folow a strict diet and this is so serious. Your question now, should be already explained to you by your doc. Call his nurse-ask!
