How long does a sunburn end and does it really turn into a average sunburn?

How long does a sunburn end and does it really turn into a average sunburn?
i went tanning once surrounded by college and while i waited contained by the room up front i read the information package given to everyone who tans, and this i what i academic:
A sunburn is caused by broken blood vessel in your skin and NO they will not turn into a sunburn. While your skin absorbs the UV rays it may sunburn and depending on the darkness of your skin, short protection, a burn will form on your skin. Any tan you develop after your burn go away will be completely separate from your burn. (incidentally i do not condone tanning and have not done it since)
Of course everyone know sun exposure will cause the skin to age quicker and highers the risks of developing skin cancer. If you enjoy a burn try putting aloe vera on it, it does wonders for burns. Hopefully it will help it make well faster too.
Depends on the severity of the sunburn. If the burn is just a short time pink, most likely it will sunburn (depending on your skin). If the burn is very red, natural and painful the skin will most possible dry out and peel once the burn have healed. A sunburn usually heal in a few days to a week (longer if it is really bad)
Frequent sunburns can increase your risk for skin cancer. Be sure to protect your skin near sunblock with SPF 30 or better.
