How long do general public stay within comas after a stroke?
The answer to that question depends on where on earth the stroke hit and how severe the stroke. My mother has have two strokes now and never once lost conciousness. How soon treatment for the stroke begin is also a factor.

There is no clear-cut answer it really does depend on that persons body. People own been within comas from anything from 2 hours to 2 years before 'waking up' afterwards again some never wake up.
In a coma the body have essentially shut down and may or may not recover.
Every single crust is different. It's not necessarily a death sentence.
