OK, A friend of mine be diagnosed with ALS finishing July. Hewas having problems style before that near picking up things and he started to feel puny. Had trouble getting in and out of the sports car and climbing stairs. Eventually he did become very week and developed pneumonia. He become bed ridden and could hardly speak because he be so weak. He passed away exactly one month ago on June 11. I miss him extremely much. This is one terrible disease. My heart go out to anyone who has it.
About twenty percent of relations with ALS live five years or more and up to ten percent will survive more than ten years and five percent will live 20 years. There are folks in whom ALS have stopped progressing and a small number of citizens in whom the symptoms of ALS reversed.
